Rodman Philbrick, adult and children’s author who wrote Freak the Mighty, loves to fish near his home in Maine. In 2004, he wrote the book The Young Man and the Sea, a story about a 12 year old boy who takes a very small boat out on the ocean by himself to try and catch a bluefin tuna. The Young Man and the Sea is Rodman Philbrick’s way of paying respect to another famous fishing story written by Ernest Hemingway in 1952. What is the title of that book?

For the seventy-fifth anniversary edition of The Wind in the Willows, the book was republished with lovely illustrations by Ernest H. Shepard. Shepard also created the original illustrations of what other well-loved children’s classic, published in 1926, that has a full cast of delightful characters? Hint: Those characters live in the Hundred Acre Woods!
